PTCL Complaint Center
The banner in the picture reads:
We have been trying to get out PTCL number 042-6371795 fixed for the last six weeks, but without any success!
It is not clear whether putting up a banner to register your telephone complaint worked or not. But one can only imagine how desperate this person had to be that he resorted such extreme measures of spending money on the printing of this banner and then hoisting it on a busy city road. Or, maybe, he is just trying to make light of what has to be a really frustrating situation. As they say, “Lahore, Lahore hai!”

R/sir, My ptcl ph.# is 021036676504 new complain # is 153 dated 2/12/2010 wich is dead since last 8 month & i m paying my telephone bill regularly.we had done many computerized complains but still our ph.is dead.sir it is my humble request to you please let me know the resion why dont take any action on my complain or if you disconnect our connection permanently,so i don’t need to pay bill any more.please reply.thanking you Mohammad.Amin

Mein ne March 2010 mein telephone & internet broadband ka connection book kerwaya tha.order no “208HPCO” hai. But abhi tak kuch nahi hua. mein chak shahzad Islamabad ka rehne wala hon. Islamabad mein ye hal hai tu aur Cities mein kia ho ga ? Kindely islamabad walon per tu reham krein aur hamara connection laga dein. Boht bar complaints kr chuka hon. Hmari Colony se almost 25 connections book hain.

we have a connection of dsl 4 mb since last year but we are still receiving speed of dsl 1 mb .we are paying bill of 4 mb . we complaint here several times but deptt. paid no heed .our ptcl no .is 061-6761563

sir my telephone instald in my home is not working properly bcoz a high leavel noise on my phone line so many complant registerd last complant registerd on 20-11-2010 coplant no 16 with rabia .
sir i stoped the bill payment bcoz the phone is not working from last several months and not resolve my problam from ur office i met the local DE in exchange but my problam is still.plz dont send me any kind of bill .first u resolve /take action on my complants.

Dear ..
iam having problem with my telephone line…and ur representative not try to resolve it there is a problem due pairs from pole thats why DSL light cannot stable and lots of distortion in the phone line.DP is not having its proper cover…U must take it on priority basis .this problem iam facing from last 20 days and every time 1218 give me new complaint no..

I had problem with my telephone, it was dead still bills were coming, in the month of Apirl I paid all dues and got disconnected the phone number on my personal request, but still bills are coming, I don’t know what is wrong with the system……….my ex phone number was 021 – 32722237, (Plaza Exchange) please help me in this regard. I wil be thanksful to you if u take some action of my mail bcz i’m complaning for my number from last month and still no body is taking serious action of it.i apply for new ptcl line connection nd its with broadband.i apply for new connection and the date is 17,october and our area lineman “Razaq” came at the end of october with old ptcl wire nd told me my ptcl number,bt the tone wasn’t there nd frm tht day still no one come at my home for visit. i also visit my gulgashat exchange in Multan. bt even than no response,im fuly dam disapointed

I am froermal power station Muzaffergarh..after introducing DSL in my colony arecord connection were taken by the peoples and no one know that what will happen when we shall pay useless bills…we have arranged alloted a quarter for PTCL by requesting our honourable chief engineer but all the efforts are gone in vain..apprximately 200 connection are now in activated position in our colony and we are facing problem in DSL ..every one is complainting to 1208 but they have no any attention ..seeing this we all the colonier are very dishearted and disappointed….now we had decided to disconnet all these 200 cnnection and trying to get time and meeting with WORLDCALL COMPANY to provide us intrnet and phones

After the submission of my application (Complaint No. 48), my internet and DSL connection got repaired. But only after one week, I am facing the same situation as before. I can’t understand why Customer service of PTCL is so much poor although being one of the prestigious organizations of Pakistan.
I am very much disturbed due to this problem and want its permanent solution on urgent basis.
Please consider my request for the said purpose and do something for that.
I shall be highly obliged to you for this favor.

My tele # 021-32736851 was out of order on 29.09.2010 after several complaints the phone line through on 21.10.2010 but regret to note that the line has again dead on 25.10.2010 I have again lodged complaints #201 dt. 27.10.2010 which has also been abolished from the system with out resolving the issue I once again lodged complaint # 04 dt.29.10.2010 and awaiting your response.
Kindly note that the main issue is not the technical side regarding the major complaints of phone lines from the entire consumer’s but the whole scenario created by the line men pls. do attend on those culprits and to enhance the PTCL performance.
I have repeatedly notice that when the line man look upon the site my phone number instantly stopped working either to disconnect the wire of one and another reason or to facilitate the other user by changing the pair with collaboration of exchange in house engineer.
I once again request you to plz. look into the matter and resolve my complaint other wise I have no other option to forward this to your controlling authority and other suitable measures.
