Now you can check the status of any case in Supreme court through its website, by just giving the case number, parties’ name or the date of the case.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry inaugurated the online case status software, recently. The software aims to facilitate both the advocates and the litigants, who can inquire the status of their cases online on a daily basis. The searches will only work on the case fixed for hearing before the court as per final/supplementary cause lists.

Through the software, the CJP wishes that each and every case heard by the courts should be made available online.

Here is an example of details that this software will provide – clearly the information provided is very brief, but let’s take this initial step towards digital documentation of all information and then presenting it online.

This is no doubt, the most successful Facebook campaign by any politician in Pakistan, which is apparently backed by social media experts.

First of all page ad is very powerful and appealing, that is one reason of success of this campaign – but the most important thing is that Mr. Musharraf interacts directly with fans, makes videos especially for Facebook, answers questions himself and lot more.

This campaign can be taken as a case study and as an inspiration for not only the political parties but the businesses in Pakistan. This Facebook page by Pervez Musharraf reveals the potential that Facebook has for celebrities and corporations.

So if you have got a Facebook page, study this campaign closely – and try to follow what Musharraf has done. Not to forget, don’t expect this much, because he had been the president of Pakistan, while you are not. But you can better your results to some extent by following him.

Rehman Malik, Interior Minister has got his fully functional website up and live – even more pleasing is that he will be available for chat with general public for one hour fortnightly. That’s pretty impressive on his part.

If you look at this website, it has got plenty of sections, including Videos, Pictures, press releases, latest news and much more including a newsletter.

Are you amazed? Here is even more amazing that Mr. Malik has got his Facebook page, Myspace, Friendster and even You Tube Channel.

Facebook page or other profiles haven’t got much content, maybe Malik’s team is process of making right now. But if you look at website’s feel, it is evident that minister has got some serious plans to follow.

Apparently this is not official website – meaning that not run by the Government of Pakistan, however, Mr. Malik’s staff would be running it. Domain name was registered in the name of Faisal Malik back in May 2009 – looks he had this in mind for long.

If this is not official website, then there are good chances that Mr. Rehman may use the followers/readers/fans even when he won’t be in government.
